Celebrating 60 Years of the Monte Sano Makos
2026 marks 60 years of the Monte Sano Makos! We're hosting an alumni reunion weekend May 23–24 and would love to see swimmers from every era come back. To stay in the loop on plans and details, join the 60th Anniversary Facebook group and let us know you're coming via the RSVP form below.
2026 Swim Team Schedule & Handbook Now Available
Makos families, the full 2026 season is set. The meet schedule, practice times, volunteer info, swimsuit details, and our costume themes are all in the new Swim Team Handbook. A few highlights: our Mandatory Parent Meeting is May 3 at 1:15, the 60th Anniversary Reunion weekend is May 23–24, and City Meet runs July 9–12 followed by the End-of-Season Awards on July 12.
Pool Clean-Up Day & General Membership Meeting
Warmer weather is on the way, which means it's almost time to kick off another great pool season! To get everything ready, we'll be hosting our annual Pool Clean-Up Day — and we need your help. We'll start the morning by removing the pool tarp and then move into general grounds clean-up. Many hands make light work, so we'd love to see as many members as possible join in! After we wrap up, please stay for our annual membership meeting. This is a great opportunity to hear updates, share ideas, and get excited for the upcoming season.
Employment Applications for 2026 Season Posted
The job descriptions and links to online applications for the 2026 season have been posted. We will have the same management team structure as last year — a manager and three assistant managers. Lifeguard applications are now open.
Annual Dues Reminder
Annual dues are due on March 1 and delinquent after March 31. A late fee determined by the Board of Directors must be paid after March 31. Please contact the Membership Chair with any questions.
New Website Coming Soon
We are excited to announce that a brand new Monte Sano Club website is in the works. The new site will make it easier to stay connected with club news, events, and information.
