Membership
Join the Monte Sano Club family and become part of a tradition that spans over 60 years.
Full Members
Members of the Monte Sano Club own equity in the Club. A member can attend meetings, vote on issues before the Club, and serve on the Board of Directors. Members have full right to use all facilities.
Annual dues are determined each year by the Board of Directors. Dues are due on March 1, and are delinquent after March 31. A late fee determined by the Board must be paid after March 31.
A member can sell or give their membership to someone else. The cost is decided by the seller and buyer. However, the Board must approve the transfer, and a $125 transfer fee must be paid to the Club.
Family Members
Any person who permanently resides in the home of a member or permit holder may use the facilities of the Club.
A young adult who no longer resides in the home of a member is considered a guest, and must be accompanied by a member and pay the usual guest fee.
Baby-sitters who have been approved by the Board are not required to pay a guest fee when supervising a child of a member at the Club.
Summer Permits
A Summer Permit gives all of the rights to use the facilities of the Club for a summer season. However, a Summer Permit does not grant equity in the Club, and a permit holder cannot serve on the Board and has no voting rights.
The number of summer permits and the cost are determined each year by the Board of Directors. If you are interested in a summer permit, contact msc.membership@montesanoclub.org
Inactive Status
A request for inactive status must be made in writing and approved by the Board. An inactive member does not pay dues, but is not allowed to use the facilities of the club or vote.
Guests
Guests must be accompanied by a member and pay the usual guest fee. The Club maintains guest policies to ensure a welcoming environment for all members and visitors.

Club Bylaws
Monte Sano Club is governed by a set of bylaws that outline the responsibilities of members and the operation of the club. Current members can request copies by contacting the board.
